Slipstream Printing Classes

Would you like to print your own fabrics with graphic images and designs? Would you like to make your own original hand carved stamps for printing? Lino block making is far easier than you might think. Even kids can do. We will lead you through the process, step-by-step, from choosing your design, to making friends with your tool and finally into prints. You can print on fabric, paper, cardboard, wood, plastic, pvc, wax, leather and any other porous surface using flexible rubber stamps.

Once you have made your lino blocks, you may want some more ideas how to go about printing them? In this class we talk about pattern and motif and you learn how to create borders, focal points and all-over patterns. We will teach you our fail-safe techniques for creating vibrant printed cloth.
